Two research abstracts currently provide the clearest documented publication-style outputs: a June 2026 study on road traffic accident determinants in Hargeisa City and a May 2026 study on exam cheating in Somaliland secondary schools.

The study examines road traffic accident involvement through road infrastructure, driver behavior, vehicle roadworthiness, traffic law enforcement, public awareness and spatial-temporal accident patterns. It uses a descriptive cross-sectional mixed-methods design combining a driver survey, official traffic records and key informant interviews.
The study investigated the prevalence of examination malpractice, social, institutional and technological factors associated with it, and perceived governmental and educational responses. The study used descriptive mixed methods, including quantitative and qualitative data.
